Novello Blackpool

As a first time visitors, we were impressed with the rooms. We stayed in separate rooms, both of which were small, but perfectly laid out. Very clean, comfortable beds, warm, plenty of storage, tea and coffee making facilities, lovely bathroom with instant all day hot water. The owners were nice and polite, making sure our stay was a pleasurable one. Would definitely stay here again

2ed time staying hereand just as good as the first time if your looking for value for money at a very high level of comfort look no more highly recommended i will stay again

Just away for a few days. Great location for attractions .clean and comfortable .Hosts very friendly and down to earth .downside it was October so it was freezing but you can’t help the weather . Had a lovely few days away next time we will try summer time .

The Novello was lovely and clean with a great location not to far to walk to the sea front the hosts were lovely easy to talk to very approachable and down to earth we asked for room near one another if possible which we got would definitely come back to stay with them

Stuff was lovely and fantastic couldn’t do a enough for you the only down side was the stairs and the food was good but would of liked more food options ect but over all enjoyed our stay

Very clean hotel in a great location, run by a lovely couple who were always happy to help. Will definitely stay here again and will be recommending to family & friends.

Cannot fault this hotel or owners my parents recommended it as they love it here and we were certainly not disappointed the rooms were pristine and so was the hotel, beds comfy, owners can’t do enough for you, I won’t be staying anywhere else now Def count us in as regulars now, highly recommended, oh and right in town centre and opposite the huge car park by coral island thanks guys x

We arrived and parked in the large car park at the end of the road and walked to the hotel which was pleasantly near by. We were greeted by the owner and was given a warm welcome and then explained about the basic operation of the bar facilities etc. The room was clean and as described, a twin room with en-suite shower.The great thing about the hotel is the location to all the sights and bars around the town, we had a great view of the tower from our window. We would choose to stay here if we ever visit Blackpool again.

Had a fantastic time with a few health problems booked well in advancefor low lever which was honoured.. room good size bed really comfy...didnt eat there cause wanted a long lie in lol but everyonewho did had lovelycomments about their breakfast...hotel was based in a great location easy walk to beach shopping...and last of all michelle so nice and hilariouswould defo be back thanks again ..Janice,drew,marion and our grandson who didn't want to come home rhys....

Had a lovely time rooms were clean all had showers. Breakfast was too early for us would have preferred it later not 8am but it was nice. The host were lovely nothing was too much trouble we would be happy to return

Came here for 2 nights , nice comfy room land lady was lovely too!

B&B was clean in all areas, bedroom was small but had a lovely view of Blackpool Tower. Bathroom was clean, bedding was clean. Good breakfast. Friendly Staff great price. Location spot on for everything. This was our 2bd stay and we will stay again.

Top weekend away , the Novello is ideally located and a good base , and has fine hosts in Antony and Michelle , clean rooms and a spacious bathroom . Great variety at breakfast Cereals and Yoghurts and a very tasty Full English . Would recommend this establishment without hesitation .Many Thanks .

I never got to stay because i couldnt get a flight into the uk down to corona. Im british but live in denmark now and wanted to se my children in blackpool. I had 2 flights cancelled and the novello wouldnt refund me. I never stayed at novello thru no fault of my own ??????????????

We stayed here in a triple room for 3 adults, the room size was great for us all, lovely and clean with a large en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle.Tea & coffee making supplies in the room and as an added bonus we had a full view of the tower ????. Location is excellent being only two streets behind coral island and parking is just over the road (reasonable charges apply) the hosts at this hotel are lovely, really friendly and most helpful, although we didn’t have breakfast here, we saw and smelt it every morning and it was perfect, we certainly wouldn’t hesitate staying here again and so can’t wait for next years annual Blackpool trip ????

Antony & Michelle are very welcoming hosts. Very clean and freedom to come and go as you please. Excellent location and I would not stay anywhere else in Blackpool.

Stayed here with my 6 year old daughter for 1 night.Very clean and friendly.We had a room at the top of the house with a lovely view of the Tower, coffee and tea making facilities well stocked, a nice en suite bathroom with shower and shampoo and soap provided.Clean towels were also provided.The twin beds we had were nice and comfortable and there was also a fan to use if we wanted it, as well as a wardrobe and drawers to store clothes.In the morning we had breakfast, which was a buffet style for cereals, toast, drinks etc but the cooked breakfast is cooked to order and brought to the table.Really nice and friendly owner as well.I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in Blackpool overnight.For the price I paid it was everything I was looking for.Clean, friendly and comfortable.

Lovley staff made me feel so welcome, highly recommended to stay at Novello B&B single room I stayed in for one night was so cosy felt like my own little home for one night and you get everything that's described in the rooms. Breakfast was amazing 10/10 in my eyes the b&b is a 5 star b&b thank you again for a amazing stay.

I traveled with my young son (8yrs) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Novello !!The staff are friendly and welcoming, the location is perfect for all attractions ie The Tower, Sea life and the Beach. Although there is no lift available, the climb to the top floor is well worth the fantastic views of the Tower, especially at night.We will be returning on our next trip to Blackpool.

The owners of novello are friendly. They make you feel welcome and the rooms are clean. The breakfast was lovely and beds are comfortable. I will definitely stay here again and it is just over the road from the coach station.

stayed here for weekend for my hubbys 50th,there was 6 of us and we all had a brill time at this hotel,the owner was lovely nothing too much trouble at all,we had a few laughs with her too,lovely lady,hotel was clean beds and pillows very comfy,breakfastt was very nice and plenty of it,it was like home from home,this is now our favourite hotel in blackpool,we will be back in october half term and we can not wait,from the aitken clan

On reading the discretion of the b&b it stated there was a lift as the building is so high on arriving we were told we couldn't use the lift as it was not safe my friend suffers from a condition witch affects her bones so we only booked it because there was a lift , we couldn't go out the next day because she couldn't do the stairs witch was 3 massive flights .. this should have been stated but wasn't..no one checked the rooms so we had no coffee tea ex so I went out and bought it.. the room itself was very tiny with 2 single beds it was was ok clean wise but could have been better.so all in all not a good choice ,also it says it has a bar which is open till when eva but on our last night we thought we would go down there but it was all closed up and the door locked and it was pretty early so all in all not happy so please think twice before booking here

Good EveningWe have got a life it is only used for the suitcase as for there no coffee and teas in room there are four of each in each room if you need more you should have come down ask for some more as for the bar it was a week day and we shut it around 11pm plus we do pop out in the day when all our guests have check in and we do like a early night once day a weekas for the room could be clean better have you seen our scores on booking.com we get 10 all the way though and when you booked you could of ask if there a room on the lower for and if we can we will do our best to get you on the first floorRegardsNovello

Stayed here at the weekend and I have got to say it is one of the best B & B I have stayed in. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast was so nice but most of all Anthony and Michelle were absolutely amazing they made us both feel so welcome. Me and my boyfriend laughed from start to finish and didn’t want to leave if we are honest. Would definitely recommend staying here the location is great too practically sat in the middle of the town centre. We are definitely going to be booking our stays here again. Thanks for a great stay Anthony and Michelle and hopefully see you very very soon so get those buds in the fridge

Stayed here as a last minute thing whilst visiting the Pleasure Beach. I was pleased to have a welcoming and quick check in, the room was clean, tidy and well organised with everything I could have needed for my brief stay. Later in the evening it was lovely to gave a drink and a chat with other guests and also the very friendly and helpful owners. I didn't opt for breakfast so I can't comment on that (other guests however assured me it was good quality and very nice too). However I enjoyed my brief stay here at the Novello, really good value for money, central location and very near to several of Blackpool attractions too. Would happily recommend and I'd also happily stay here again. Thanks to the owners and all at the Novello!

Micheal and Anth were great hosts very polite and professional we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be using there hotel again they have a very well stocked little bar with very reasonable prices we didn’t have breakfast fast with them as we didn’t know when we would be up but they told us of a great place just around the corner

Stayed for 3 nights with my daughter attending a dance competition at Blackpool Tower. The location is perfect, 5 min walk to the tower/seafront/McDonald’s.Lots of shops very nearby. Very clean property, secure entrance. The managers were lovely, very friendly and helpful.Our room had everything we needed, hot shower, kettle with tea etc, fan as it was a very hot weekend.No on-site parking but plenty within less than a five minute walk. Paid £18 for 72 hours so pretty reasonable. Will definitely stay here again!

Great hotel, clean room, good breakfast. Anthony was very accommodating, he welcomed our friend for breakfast even though he wasn't actually staying in the hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, always someone around to help. Kept up to covid standards. You get what you pay for with the room, it’s was old fashioned but clean hence the price. The beds were not comfortable in the slightest! But it was a cheap B&B. Excellent location couldn’t have got any closer! Just a street up from coral island amusements. Would stay here again due to the cheap price and helpful staff.

Myself and son(10yrs) stayed at The Novello for 3 nights and I have to say I couldn't fault the hotel. The only minor thing I would say is that there are a lot of stairs to reach higher levels, we stayed in Room 21 however the hosts are more than happy to assist with your luggage and can do enough to help. I also liked that Michelle and Anthony were always on had throughout the day for any problems or even just a friendly chat. (Which is lovely especially as a single parent travelling with a young child as this can be isolating at times.) Our room was absolutely spotless and given that I have OCD my standards and expectations for cleaniless are very high. Our beds were comfortable and we slept well. The view from our bedroom was beautiful we had a fantastic view of the tower which was lovely to look out at at night when the Tower lights are on.The location of the hotel is extremely central for all attractions but the hotel is situated in a quieter street so less noise from revellers of an evening.(Best of both Worlds.)The twin room we had was small but given previous experience it was NO smaller than most rooms in B.pool.When asked what my son would write for our review his reply was quite simply, "I loved it mum", so no complaints from him either.We didn't have breakfast this stay however I know from speaking to Anthony that they will try to provide you with any special requests. It certainly smelled lovely from the dining when we were passing in the morning.Finally just a tip for parents travelling with no car, I would recommend purchasing a Tram ticket for the duration of your stay as it can be quite a walk between piers and attractions when kids are tired and hot????.We will definitely be back to The Novello in the future and I will be recommending The Novello to others back home. After seeing the 9 stars, I really hoped it was as clean and friendly as all the reviews said. Michelle was so kind and genuine, the room was super clean and in good nick, shower was warm with good pressure, bed comfy, room quiet...Great blackout curtains. I mean, honestly, I can't imagine anything better. And the price was unbelievable. I'll definitely be choosing Novello again and recommending to friends. Just hope they'll have the space.. Thanks!!

Room was spacious, clean and had everything that we could have possibly wanted. Iron and ironing board right outside the room, kettle and plenty of tea and coffee for the stay. Owner was very helpful and fully informed us of everything that we needed to know before we went up to our room. Also really helpful about the local area. We paid for breakfast on arrival and was booked in for 9am, it was lovely and hot and we were offered cereal and toast beforehand. Good, clean, comfortable room. Comfortable bed.Only disappointing thing was the bacon was barely cooked, looked as if the packet had just been opened and 2 slices put straight onto the plate. Unfortunately put me off having breakfast the rest if the stay! Apart from that good place to stay

I stayed for two nights in the self contained unit with my two children. It was absolutely perfect for us! The location is fantastic too - it is quite a way away from the pleasure beach but it is right next to Coral Island and loads of places to get every kind of munchie - hotdogs, chips, burgers, donuts, candy floss......The accomodation was clean and definitely serves its purpose. The beds are super comfy and it was nice and quiet at night time. Loads of room and great facilities in the little kitchen area. It is a superb little unit and I would highly recommend it to anyone! Anthony was extremely welcoming and very friendly and easy going.This is a fab place to stay and I cant wait to return and see the inside of the hotel and sample the breakfast!!!!

This place is amazing for family’s. The studio has everything a family needs. Less than a minute walk into the centre of Blackpool. Antony and Michelle are great hosts. The studio apartment sleeps 5 it’s clean warm and quite.

This was our second stay at this guest house it has everything we need and it is in a very good locationClose to the seafront and the tower,shops,pubs and places to eat. We had a comfortable bed in a warm clean en-suite room and we had a lovely cooked breakfast- new management were nice and friendly and we will definitely return ???? ??????

we arrived early was able to leave our luggage there, was given our keys when we went back at 2pm our luggage was in our rooms.Very clean we asked for an extra pillow we was given them. Beds very comfy. Breakfast was lovely.The couple that run it now have not been in long but are very friendly and have plans in place they are doing a lovely job

Warm welcome and also very friendly from the moment we walked in. Couldn’t be more helpful as well. Room was comfortable and modern. The room was spotless and also a great shower. Car parking 100yds away and in a great location. Pleasure beach is the furthest away but again we walked it in 20 minutes. Highly recommend.

Such a welcoming couple, both being ex military too made it even easier to talk to them. So lovely the pair of them. The room was mint. What a good use of the space they have we walked in and we were so happy straight away. Very clean too, no funny smells like most b&b’s. I’m definitely staying again and I’ll park in the right car park this time to avoid another ticket ???? 11/10

Hotel was very clean and tidy staff where extremely friendly and accommodating. A stay on the top floor seen us take in a lot of stairs but the view was more than worth it as the room looked right onto the tower which looked amazing all illuminated at night.

Lovely stay, very clean, breakfast excellent and lots of hand sanitizer around Hotel. Under the circumstances a safe and enjoyable break.

Had a lovely 2 night stay room's were clean and comfortable everything that was needed I booked an hour before arrival and our room was perfectly ready for us excellent swift service hand sanitisers everywhere thank you.

Lovely hotel, superb location, very central- excellent for piers sea front coral island winter gardens and night life. Rooms have been painted and now have a very clean fresh look. Breakfast wellRun and very tasty. Will be back

Booked for 3 nights travelling for business. Couldn't fault the place. Clean room. Clean bathroom. Lovely owners always checking up on you in a morning if you want or need anything ???????? the only thing was the lock on the door was sometimes a little tricky to unlock.

Had to leave after a week because of the virus....Did not want to leave...Was so enjoyable....Cannot wait to return,now iv'e found such a nice place to stay....Highly Recommended.....

We both enjoyed our stay very clean, great staff, good location and wonderful a breakfast we will be back again.

For the price it could not be faulted. For £35.00 for two nights it was excellent. I could not afford to stay at The Imperial or a dearer hotel nearer to the Imperial as I have in previous years as I am currently looking for work. I would not have stayed here if I could have afforded to stay at a better hotel nearer to North Pier. I am struggling financially and needed a break after losing my job. I have waited nine weeks. Still no Universal Credit! So to get to play chess in Blackpool I have had to sell my car to come on holiday and survive for a few days there. I had to borrow my dad's car. All ways around I was very stressed, only due to my recent financial difficulties even if it didn't show on the outside to anyone else! It is understandable to keep idiots out of the hotel that as I was unknown to the owners I had to pay a 'bond' deposit so as not to cause damage etc. It took me to my limit on my card. That said it was very disappointing that my holding deposit of £50 (apparently as I have never stayed there before) was not returned to me immediately on my leaving to my credit card as I left the room as clean and tidy as I could. In my view a quick inspection should take place and then be immediately refunded. That's fair to me....good business and fair all around. I am still waiting. I trust I will get this back! The TV did not have BBC1, BBC2 or BBC4 and several other channels and had at times a flickery reception. That did not really matter though as I read a book most of the late evening. The bed could have done with a thicker or at least more comfortable mattrice and two more pillows. I have a bad back and bad knees so was a little uncomfortable as a result. The breakfast was excellent and staff very helpful and friendly. I would certainly consider staying again though. I am currently out of work and attended the annual chess congress at The Imperial Hotel. I had a good time. I relied on that £50 being returned. I had to borrow £50 from a friend to pay for a meal on the way back and for my return petrol money as a result. I trust I will get this money back very soon in the next few days so that I can repay my friend. I do not intend to moan about my stay. It was great to stay here overall and I would give 8/10.....if I get my deposit back. If not I feel conned.....let's see. The small points raised I hope will be addressed. Thank you and hope to stay again soon (if I get my deposit back in a few days of course!). Kind regards to all the staff who were excellent.

Clean, Comfortable and very good value.We arrived at 6pm to a warm and friendly welcome. The Novello is in easy walking distance to the centre. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Will definitely stay there again.

We have stayed at the Novello a couple of times now,I honestly can't fault it. it's clean,central and the owners are fantastic they can't do enough for you (even getting myself some lurpax butter portions for my toast ????????????????).I would definitely recommend this hotel as we have stayed in some disgusting hotels in Blackpool in our time.

Booked last minute, and the cost was really reasonable, so much so that we genuinely wasn't expecting what we got. We came home yesterday after a 2 night stay. Facilities are superb, very clean, honestly cannot fault it. The location is ideal for the main attractions, round the corner from the tower, and all the shops. Lisa and Brian who run the Novello, were so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was brilliant, we stay in Blackpool often, and never had such a good Becky! Can highly recommend The Novello, so much so I booked 2 more breaks before we left. Fantastic value for money.

Very cosy b and b . Comfy beds and quite quiet when we were there.owner very nice. Scrummy breakfast and extras e.g.. toast, cereals coffee and juice. We were on the top floor which will keep you fit as no lift. Would highly recommend and will go back when next in Blackpool.

We arrived very early around 12.30pm so knew the rooms wouldn’t be ready but thought I’d pop in anyway and we were able to get checked in and given keys so that we could come back when it suited us not at a specific time to get checked in.. this was great for us! Lovely comfortable room and very well heated which was great as the weather for a our stay was horrific.. we had 2 rooms 1 for myself and daughter and another for partner and son.. both twin rooms.. mine and my daughters was slightly bigger I would say with better storage space for a longer stay. Breakfast was amazing!! Loved being able to help ourselves to toast juice and cereals and the cooked breakfast was the best we’ve had in Blackpool!! Will definitely return.. The Beadman’s x

Fab hotel, spotlessly clean. Room was descent size with a side window overlooking the beach. Breakfast was lovely fresh and hot. Going back to Blackpool in October but sadly can’t get booked in this hotel but we will be back next year. Thanks

Excellent deffentiltyreturning best baby in Blackpool

Great location, clean comfortable twin room (No. 19, top floor with angled sea view), plenty of storage, good shower with towels and soap/shampoo dispensers. Excellent cold buffet breakfast and plated, hot, full English breakfast. Nice, friendly staff but not intrusive. Pocket sprung beds with good bed linen, warm duvets, 2 good pillows per bed. Limited parking on street outside but municipal, paid parking easy walk away. Slight downside would be, for certain guests, no lift, but that didn’t concern us. Also, there may be a £50 bond on your room for possible damages caused by guests, so remember your debit/ credit card. Liked the fact that stags/hens not catered for but the hotel was very accommodating and allowed us our own front door key as we expected late return after our Christmas party at Viva Blackpool! We would love to return to the Novello next time we visit the coast!

Great little b&b in a fab location. It was my birthday night out so the location for the pubs/clubs was fantastic. We thought the rooms were nice and clean and spacious for the £28 a night we paid. Breakfast was also included, we didn’t manage to have breakfast so I can’t rate that but I’m sure it was lovely. Check in and check out was easy. Thank you for the stay.

We stayed in the studio apartment room as there was 4 of us. It was so clean and lots of room for us. Also they’ve thought of everything in there for the little kitchen space we were able to cook which is what we wanted. Staff were lovely to. Honestly could not fault it, would definitely stay again.

Second time i have stayed there, lovely b & b really clean rooms friendly staff and brilliant breakfast, close to the centre shops and restaurants I will be staying again loved it.

Had booked to stay here for September but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel, at only 24 hours before arrival date. After making a phone call we were allowed to postpone our booking till November, this was greatly appreciated as leaving it so late we were really not entitled to any refund for cancellation, and I bet not many hotels/guest houses would approve this. On arrival we were made most welcome, room was comfortable with everything required for a short break. Breakfast was excellent and served warm, to order and on warm plates just the way I like it. Location was perfect for us, close to everything. Departure was also friendly and I would not hesitate to use againThanks again for everything

The Novello is an amazing place to stay! Close to all the big attractions, clean, nicely decorated and very safe! The breakfast in the morning consisting of a cooked breakfast and load some of bitswhich you can help your self too is outstanding! The staff are always willing to help and cater to your needs the best they can!I honestly couldn’t recommend enough. I will be booking again for next year! Me and my nephew loved staying here!

Gentleman who checked us in was lovely.

We had a lovely stay. 5* the room was big with everything we needed and more. The staff were amazing and so accommodating. Nothing was to much trouble with one of my child's allergies and one being vegi. We will definitely be going back next year.

My Daughter and I stayed here for a couple of nights from the 23rd October to the 25th. What a lovely stay we had. Room lovely, clean and warm on arrival. Lots of selection on the buffet breakfast from cereal, fruit, yoghurt and every hot or cold drink you can think off. Then a freshly cooked breakfast to set you up for the day. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be returning.

This Hotel does NOT have a lift, nor do we advertise a Lift. As regards to the reception and telephone, someone is here at all times until 8pm at night when reception closes, also all telephone calls are answered till then? All the rooms are checked by management after they have been cleaned and that everything is in working order, we did notice after you had checked out that you had broken the shower head which we had to fix at a cost to ourselves! All breakfast is cooked fresh to order and there is never longer than 10 minutes to wait

We had 2 rooms, a double and a single. Both rooms were very clean and warm. Staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was cooked exactly to our requirements. Would definitely stay here again

Property is situated within walking distance to all attractions. Ideal for wee ones. Rooms dated but immaculate. Hotel quiet again great for young kids . The B&B was clean and friendly worth ths money. Just ashame room 8 keep me awake each night and woke me each morning with his loud telly. Didnt like having to leave the £50 seriuty depoist been cumin blackpool for years and thats been the first time.Also think its wrong you havin to wait 5 days for for your £50 back .

Thank you for your review. The gentleman next door to you was elderly and hard of hearing and he was unable to go out of the guest house due to his health. We do provide ear plugs however. We wish you could have mentioned this to us at the time of your stay with us as we might of been able to help, we strive to make everybody stay with us enjoyable and memorable.

Every time I go to the Novello I am never disappointed and this time was no exception.When my elderly mum took unwell there she was treated with nothing but kindness. Nothing was too much trouble and she was never made to feel in the way. The rooms are so comfy and the food is excellent.So close to the beach and the shops.It has everything you need for a break away.

Host was very pleasant. However lift was out of order so we were glad to have a room on 1st floor. It was sad to see an older lady finding it very difficult to climb the stairs to her room. If you have mobility issues check lift is in working order before bookingBed was very uncomfortable. I didn't get much sleep. The mattress seemed okay but on checking it was the base which was wooden and what seemed like plywood supporting the matress.I wouldnt return to this hotel due to this.

Very close to centre of town and Coach Station but was quiet. Room was on the small side but had everything I needed , a comfortable bed, lashing of hot water, shower was powerful enough, breakfast was excellent and I couldn't fault it. If I was really being pick a hash brown would have been nice but this wasn't a problem for me. When I visit Blackpool next year I will make this B & B my 1st choice. Keep up the good work.

This was our third visit to the novello we had another excellent stay. Very comfortable clean room. Excellent breakfast in the morning. And hosts could not be any nicer thank you again. In hope to see use soon again.

Arrived on Thursday for the Rebellion music festival and went early to the Novello to leave our bags. We received a warm welcome and left our bags which were kindly taken to our room.The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and light and had a TV and tea making facilities.Our breakfasts were plentiful and delicious and were a great start to the day.Everyone is so friendly and helpful and the Novello will always be my first choice to stay whenever I visit Blackpool.

I wasn’t meant to be a guest in this hotel but after the disaster I was meant to stay in they found me the last room available here and it was a really good price! The guy Brian I believe he was called was super friendly we chatted, breakfast was amazing, I always look at a bathroom when I stay in a place m the bathroom here was amazing! Super modern the whole place was unbelievably clean, comfortable, very quiet, I will deffo be going again and soon

It was the first time staying here as a family of 4, there was plenty of room in the studio room downstairs, the only one negative thing was that it was very warm and felt stuffy but apart from that I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We will definitely book here again.

nice b&b is what it says, 3 star, rooms very clean and comfortable, there were 3 of us, myself my daughter and granddaughter, room was spacious and comfortable. we were on top floor and lift is very old and a bit hit and miss. stairs pretty steep so if any issue ask for lower floor. Breakfast was excellent with really good choices. the b&b is very convenient for all the attractions, nice and quiet at night. so overall lovely place and would definitely book again

In pure value for money terms this is without doubt one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in, particularly in Blackpool.The room was clean and surprisingly spacious for a twin. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty with a plentiful selection of cereals, fruit, youghurts etc. They also have a lift, which for an old building like this is quite the bonus. Our visit was for a specific event at the Winter Gardens which was a few minutes walk away but all the other ameneties and attractions from Blackpool are really close too. Quite literally when you walk out of the front door and look left you can see the sea and the beach.The staff here are also second to none. Warm welcoming and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. They are the epitome of good service!I really do not know how they do it for the money but I am glad they do.

My friend and I booked to stay at this hotel for 2 nights. The staff were fantastic! Incredibly attentive and made us feel so welcome. Our room was spacious and was way more than I expected for the price we paid! Breakfast was lovely. Not a bad word can be said about our stay. We were located closely to everything that we needed. Absolutely would stay here again and have made plans to return!

There's nothing bad to say about Novello, we were in room 6, was lovely with a sea & tower view, clean with everything you need. 5mins to walk into town, and sea front.We parked in central car park which was a 2min walk. Breakfast was yummy lots to chose from, 5 different cereals, 3 different fresh fruits, 4 yogurts. Jams,marmalade,marmite choc spread. Briwn& white bread. Margarine or butter, lots of different teas and coffees also hot choc. Fruit juices. Full english too.Check in & out was quick and easy. Both staff lovely and helpful. We'll definitely be back soon.

A quiet, comfortable guest house.Situated in a convenient position for central shopping etc. Comfortable beds, although the pillows were hard.Breakfast was excellent. Parked in the Central car park, just across the road. £16 for 48hrs. Bit of a bugbear really.

Arrived early afternoon..met with a smile.All ok..room basic but very clean..Faboulous location..near to everything.Mine hosts lovely people,guests also very friendly.Breakfast amazing..my only fault there wasnt enough sausage coz i dont eat bacon..could have done with another one.Will deffo be back.My grandson at 3yr old n never stayed out before said on the 1st night are we going home now..i said this is our home for 2 days..he loved it too.Just sooo convienient..15 min walk from Blackpool North or fiver in a cab..cant fault it at all.

Have stayed in the Novello sever times, Lovely B&B comfortable beds, spotlessly clean nice and warm if you want it you control the heating 24/7 I stayed for 4 nights B&B only had breakfast 3 days as had an early start, food was lovely perfect poached egg, great sausage and plenty of cereal, toast and tea and coffee, new management team have excellent customer service skills, nothing to much trouble have already booked again for later in the year, stay here you wont be disappointed

There were a number of choices for breakfast. i had a full English which was delicious, very well cooked and like the plates, hot. I couldn't want or ask for more and overall thought it was very good value for money. Top marks !!

Had a lovely short stay at the Novello. Had to book last thing so searched B&B in Blackpool, the Novello came up looked nice from the outside and the location was perfect as my daughter was dancing at the winter gardens which is in the center of Blackpool only 0.2 miles from the Novello.When I booked I left a message on the booking site to say I would be up early before the book in time, they emailed back strait away saying this was fine.Hotel room was comfortable, warm and clean so no issues there, breakfast was lovely full English and a choice of other cold foods available, very nice coffee machine best coffee I've had for a while.Would I stay again, Yes.

We went on a 2 day trip to Blackpool for our anniversary,we had a fantastic time! Rooms are very clean and comfortable and we could see the sea from the b & b windows,so it wasn't a long walk. Excellent location only 2 minutes walk from the big car park by Coral Island. We had the budget double room but the size was perfect for us just for our one night.The heating was turned up full so it was very warm when we arrived, we just turned it down to make it more comfortable but much rather that than be cold.The only issue I had was the fact the pillows were much too hard for me, but I usually take my own pillow anyway. And I didnt ask to see if there were any others so that may have been an option.Any lack of sleep was quickly forgotten with the shower, nice and powerful.And then followed by a lovely breakfast with a great selection of teas, juice, and cereals alongside the cooked breakfast.The owner was friendly and seemed to be doing everything himself so we were certainly impressed.I would definitely recommend this location and would happily book here again.

We were in Blackpool for the NXT UK weekend and needed a place to put our head down,after spending a while looking over B&Bs on several sites I noticed one name continued to show up with great ratings and within the price bracket I was looking to pay.The Novello, as the reviews say,is a very clean B&B, situated very close to Coral Island and a generous 10min walk away from The Winter Gardens so perfect for our weekend. The proprietor was welcoming, explaining breakfast times, where our room was, which key was for which door and also checkout times.Our room was clean, your standard B&B but with ensuite, shower was fab in the morning, really pleased I chose this B&B and would recommend it for location to Tower/Winter Gardens.One little tip though for anyone planning to stay and be out after 8 when the door is locked, make sure you pull the front door towards you before trying to unlock it,there is a charge if you have to ring the doorbell after 8, I had my key but was panicking a little when the door wasn't opening, pulled the door a little and it unlocked.

Stayed at the Novello for one night with friends and we were very pleased indeed with the welcome we received and our rooms which were extremely clean and lovely and warm , plenty of hot water and a full hospitality tray . This is a great little stopover for one night or in fact a weekend , very convenient for town and bus routes . The breakfast was lovely and plenty of it and great value along with the room for £20 !! We would definitely return here and highly recommend , The hosting was attentive and nothing was too much trouble .. Thank you

The hotel is in a very good location the rooms are small but lovely and clean i do think in my opinion the rules of the hotel are to much in your face with notices everywhere you go when you go into breakfast it seems all too rushed, the breakfast is 8-9 but you have to order your cooked food before 8-50& checkout time is no later than 10 which is a little earlyit just seems like a mad rush on the morning of checkout but there's plenty of choice for breakfast

I booked a budget room so the price was excellent.The room and bathroom were clean and adequate for our stay.The room was quite small which was fine but myself and my husband found the bed a bit small however saying that it was the budget room.Unfortunately we were unable to experience the breakfast as my husband had to return to work.The staff were all very nice, friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome.I would stay again but would probably pay a bit more for a bigger room with hopefully a bigger Bed.All in all would stay again and recommend.

Nice spacious room, excellent breakfast, cleanand tidy hotel and friendly staff.. it is in a good position for the main attractions of Blackpool.The only thing that lets the Novello down is the small and dull lounge and lack of a bar. I stayed with my partner for two nights on the 1st -2nd November. We checked late afternoon and were greeted by Graeme and his partner who were lovely and then given our keys to the room (no 17).The room was pleasant and clean. The breakfast was freshly cooked to ordered there was also plenty of options like cereal, bread etc, and healthy options too which you don't get everywhere, so that was a bonus!Location was spot on!We've stayed in various B&B's in Blackpool but this will now be our first choice when we next travel to Blackpool.I'd highly recommend the Novello.

My daughter and I stayed over just for the night whilst we visited the illuminations. The room was lovely, clean and warm with fresh towels. Was my partners first time, she loved it, room was basic but clean,great breakfast,great location,no view in our room,strange frosted plastic on glass to prevent seeing out,most likely to stop seeing out into the back of building,otherwise good.we were unfortunately woken at 4am from next room as walls very thin.to be expected with these old buildings that have been changed into bnb's, would go back.

The Novello is a nice quiet b&b. It's very clean and serves a good breakfast. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. It is very good value for money, less than £20 a night!The single rooms, although a little compact, have a good size bathroom.There are a lot of rules, which might put some people off, but most normal people would respect their room any way and these rules shouldn't be a problem.I've stayed in lots of Blackpool b&bs over the last 25 years and the Novello is probably the cleanest of the lot. Very very good. Anyone looking for a cheap b&b should check it out.I would like to thank the hosts for a good stay

Another excellent stay at The Novello. I ve enjoyed several stays there over the last 14 months and the rooms are always spotlessly clean. The food is cooked to perfection and extremely tasty with a wide and varied breakfast choice. There is a lift. It is situated on a quiet street yet only 5 mins walk from the beach and Tower. The overall excellent standard, by any measure, is assured while the friendly, efficient couple who run it are there. Rest assured, excellence comes as standard.

I would have to recommend this hotel to anyone, it was very well run and Graeme and Gina can't do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble for them, it was very clean rooms were immaculate and the rooms were cleaned everyday, breakfast was very good and I honestly can't fault this hotel at all I really can't.

Recommend anyone to visit the Novello BB, I was given a warm welcome and requested a low floor on booking which was allocated to me. My room though small was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was very nice . As a Scot I do like my haggis but had never seen it offered at breakfast, I had to try and it went well with full English. I will return to the Novello in future

We found the price to be very reasonable, Graham & Gina were very friendly and helpful and our room was clean & the breakfasts were very good. Sorry now a couple of little moans. Firstly our twin room was no where near as nice as the ones pictured above. Secondly having to be down for breakfast by 9.00am was a bit early for us this could have been up until 10.00am to be fair, then having to put out our make up our room signs on the door by 10am made it all seem a bit rushed in the morning, this resulted in being out of the building before most of the Blackpool attractions opened, we really did have a good lay in when we got home. However this B&B is good value for money and ideal for early risers

The mamagement were extremely friendly and helpful before i even got there with where i could park my car and the prices.The only issue we had was the bed was very hard and small for us, but thats what we get for having such a big bed at home! Overall we would happily stay here again the next time we visit blackpool! Thank you guys for the hospitallity.

A very warm welcome was given. Clear information about parking options. The room was clean,cosy and warm with good hot water in the ensuite. The breakfast was wonderful, with a selection of cereals, tinned fruit, yogurts, bread/toast and a full cooked breakfast. Highly recommended.

We stayed in a triple room for one night. We came to celebrate my birthday. The novello is quite central but away from the noise of the centre. The room was a triple it was lovely, and clean and warm plenty of hot water as well. We had a lovely welcome from the Manager,unusually they gave all three of us our own door keys!! A real bonus. Breakfast was amazing good quality products with eggs cooked to perfection.It was lovely. Would we stay again YES!! Well done

Stayed at the Novello 18 months ago, so My second visit, It had had a change in Management, Graeme and Gina excellent hosts very friendly, nothing to much trouble. Great super clean rooms, plenty hot water, heating you control yourself and plenty hot water for shower what ever time you need it, beds most comfortable ever slept in in B&B and great pillows. so close to all amenities, 5 mins to sea. am back again in October for end of Illumination , then will be booking next years visits, dont want to miss outthe best in Blackpool *****

Excellent B&B and while near to all Blackpool has to offer is in a quiet road ensuring a good night's sleep on the comfy beds in the clean,serviced rooms. Breakfast is exceptional,being able to help yourself at the full buffet bar and then followed by a full delicious cooked English breakfast including that rarity in B&Bs black pudding and even more rarer,haggis. The hosts were very friendly,approachable and attentive throughout our 7 night stay. All the above, at a very reasonable price, makes the Novello somewhere we would not hesitate to stay again and also would recommend to our family and friends.Thank you.

Good basic accommodation, if you want more you will have to pay more. Staff are friendly and very efficient. We stay in quite a lot of hotels and I must say you will do very well to get a better breakfast than we had at the Novello. We also found that the location was very good too.

We stayed for a full week, and from start to finish we were made to feel extremely welcome by a two fabulous hosts. The rooms were great too, and plenty of tea and coffee in the room too. Breakfast is on another planet, couldnt ask for a better cooked breakfast. Even our teenage daughter was impressed, and we all know how fussy they can be! Will definitely book into the Novello for our next trip to Blackpool

Just back yesterday from five day stay at Novello . We took a bus from Glasgow you are right across from bus stop , warm welcome from Graeme who makes a lovely breakfast non greasy tasty . Gina his wife keeps guest house spotless too lovely white linen n fluffy towels topping up the biscuits . At breKfast Gina at front of house welcoming nothing toMuch trouble didn’t have to wait long either and other tales cleared quickly so you were always sitting in nice clean dining room . We shall defo go back

We stayed 30/05/18 for 2 nights the couple were friendly nothing was a bother to them , only complaint far too hot throughout even in the breakfast room I couldn’t eat my breakfast because of the heat , saying that breakfast was delicious plenty of choice .

Really impressed with this hotel people that run it are extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for me.Keys handed to me on arrival and no issues with going in and out as you please.Bedding, room and bathroom fresh and extremely clean.The breakfast I thought I would struggle with due to me having to have a Gluten Free diet but no the menu catered for everything I needed.I was here on a Northern Soul weekend and returning at 3am in the morning was no problem.I would highly rate this hotel and would have no problem in booking a return next year.Many thanks to Graem and Gina for making my stay very warm and welcoming.Kind RegardsReg Abbotts

I arrived here Saturday with my daughter Heather for a overnight stay to see Gary Barlow. The first thing your greeted with is lovely welcoming owners who can’t do enough for you. We had a twin room with amazing few of the tower. The location was great right behind sea life centre, you couldn’t get a better spot. Breakfast was outstanding I’m a chef and I can tell you it was very high standards. Help yourself to tea,coffee cereals etc, they ask you what you’d like off the main menu and it’s cooked to order and a very good choice of mains. So all in all I would definitely recommend this lovely B.B.. well done guys and thank you for making our stay very enjoyable. Many thanks Julie,Heather.

I had spoken to the team at Novello prior to arrival as I required a Late check in due to the train times from Scarborough; This wasn't a problem and they accommodated me with ease.The Management team were very friendly on arrival and I checked into my room. The room was much bigger than I anticipated with an ensuite shower/bathroom! It was very clean and the bed was the most comfiest that I've stayed at in Blackpool!They even had a Iron & Ironing Board adjacent to my room so I could iron my shirt in the morning, this was a big bonus.And to wrap it up the breaky was 'top notch'.I hope to stay at this lovely B&B again!

The good - lovely and warm accommodation (stayed in October) where you can set the radiator thermostats to your own liking, clean room with everything I needed, good Wi-Fi in room, lift to all floors which is unusual for a b&b. The hosts were great and the breakfast was fantastic with a huge choice on offer - best of all - fresh grilled tomatoes (I dread b&b cheap tinned tomatoes!)The not so good - when booking the photos showed a bar but it was just a reception lounge that closed at 8pm when I stayed. I did miss not being able to chat to other guests in the late evening - (as a single female I'm uncomfortable with going out to pubs on my own). Also my room was at the rear of the property and the window had a vinyl film over it to block out bad view which left me feeling a tad claustrophobic. As a solo guest on a budget the 2 issues (no bar lounge, no view at all) left me feeling a little bit cut-off - but this was because it was a cold October and I spent more time inside the hotel than I would have during the summer months.That said The Novello is still unbeatable value for money where you will get a clean,warm, comfortable and very well fed stay. I will certainly stay again - but would request a front room for autumn/winter stays if I were on my own.

We stayed as a mature couple with our 6 year old grandson. Location was perfect close to sealife, coral island and tower, trams and lights. We even had a brilliant view of the lit up tower from our top floor room which our Grandson really loved. Gina and Graham were excellent helpful hosts and laid on a beautiful breakfast. Great location near coral island tower and shops. I chose this hotel as I hate dragging heavy bags up flights of stairs because they have a lift. Happy to take the stairs other times.The room was clean warm plenty hot running water,heating and the thing I liked best plenty small milks for self service tea and coffee.The couple ruining the place couldn’t be and more helpful. Warm and friendly nothing any bother.Breakfast was amazing freshly made, good choice cereal toast yougurts, teas coffees etcI would choose this place first next visit to blackpool. My friend and l came to Blackpool for one night to tick a trip to Funnygirls of our bucket list (which was every bit as fabulous as expected !!)We stayed just the one night at the Novello but would definitely recommend it.It is very close to the seafront and therefore all other amenities .The room was sufficient to our needs,a little need of some TLC/modernisation but clean and everything worked properly, but this was reflected in the price which was very reasonable .The breakfast was great,lots of choice and hot and fresh.The young couple who had it were very pleasant ,especially the gentlemanwho couldn't have been more helpful on our arrival ,helping us find parking,ringing taxi's for us etc.All in all it was a lovely stay and we will certainly be back and can thoroughly recommend it.☺️

My friend and l came to Blackpool for one night to tick a trip to Funnygirls of our bucket list (which was every bit as fabulous as expected !!)We stayed just the one night at the Novello but would definitely recommend it.It is very close to the seafront and therefore all other amenities .The room was sufficient to our needs,a little need of some TLC/modernisation but clean and everything worked properly, but this was reflected in the price which was very reasonable .The breakfast was great,lots of choice and hot and fresh.The young couple who had it were very pleasant ,especially the gentlemanwho couldn't have been more helpful on our arrival ,helping us find parking,ringing taxi's for us etc.All in all it was a lovely stay and we will certainly be back and can thoroughly recommend it.☺️

Had a lovely 4 day break at Novello B&B, room was clean, there was a large range of options for breakfast which was delicious. Excellent hospitality. Couldn’t fault any of my stay with you at the Novello. Just want to say thanks again for putting up with us:)

We were very happy with our accommodation the rooms were very clean and welcoming. The breakfasts were very good and nice and hot when they were served to you.The selection of cereals , morning breakfast drinks were the best that I have seen in a very long time. Clean,tidy and very central,food ok.It was a pity we were not asked if everything was satisfactory at check out.Owners did not make themselves known to have any chat,like a ghost town at night.they need to check all their notices for the spelling mistakes which in our opinion gives the hotel a poor representation for guests.Lacking that personal touch.

Upon arrival, was greeted warmly by the owner and checked in rather swiftly. Unfortunately, there had been a a mishandling of the booking at no fault of the owner. Although we had booked a budget double room, the room was no longer available and checked us into a triple bed studio. Lovely host who resolved the issue quickly and efficiently and could not fault him. The room was lovely and clean and very spacious, with all needs catered for. Would highly recommend staying at the Novello and would definitely return again!

Myself and two children (14 & 16) were greeted with a friendly manner. Our room was clean and nice. The location was great as not right on the front but a very short 2'min walk to be there. Our room was on the 3rd floor and not noisy at all. The breakfast in the morning was fast, cooked perfectly and plenty of choice for all. I'd DEFINITELY recommend here and I would happily rebook A+

Absolutely loved our stay, we came for a gig on 26th august. Wonderful and clean, free eye mask and ear plugs. really central could hop to the tower. Breakfast was homely, and the filter coffee was a great touch. Lovely and quiet for it being smack in the middle of the hustle and bustle. All the staff extremely plesant and polite nothing was to much to ask. Definitely would stay there again.

This B&B was a really nice and relaxing place to stay in. I was up in Blackpool for Livewire Festival and where it was based was a 5 minute walk from this B&B. The staff were friendly and welcoming and had a nice atmosphere about it.

Couldn't recommend a better value b&b in Blackpool. Very late booking- and was given a very good deal for 2 nights with breakfast at only £90. The chap that works here was very welcoming and friendly from the minute we walked through the door. We was a nervous couple with a 1 year old, worried about staying in a b&b as havnt before, but the bloke was very accommodating making sure we had everything we needed and extra. The b&b was only 5 minutes from the sea front meaning my partner didn't have to drive at all for 2 days which was lovely. The room was very clean and tidy and had tea making facilities and tv with free wifi making it a lot more hassle free for us with a baby. Overall hotel was quite at night as the place had a quite policy which was nice as it ment our son could sleep peacefully. Would deffinatly be using again!

Stayed here with my Grandson Rhys for the Rebellion Festival arriving on the Thursday staying until the Monday.The room was clean,plenty of space and airy and the beds comfortable, with a well cooked and plentyful breakfast. The staff friendly and polite.Excellantly positioned to get to the Winter Gardens we will be very happy to book here for next years festival.

The Novello is really close to Blackpool tower and has a major car park across the rd which was very convenient.Only downside was a little bit pricey. (We paid £16 for 48hrs). The hotel was very clean and tidy and the guy on reception was very welcoming.We would stay here again but would book a bigger room as we had a small double and bed was a little too small for us. Free eye mask and ear plugs were a nice touch!! Would recommend.

Did what it said on the tin, stayed for just the one night. Nice and quiet. Lift makes all the difference when your on the top floor. Host was very nice and made you feel welcome. Breakfast was as it should be, big and hearty. Only down side is no on site parking.Had to search around for somewhere to put the car. Read the small print if you have a car. otherwise, nice little overnight stay.

We would highly recommend this centrally located hotel. The staff were all very helpful and the breakfast was superb. We have already booked to return in the summer for our trip to see the darts.

Ideally situated, lovely accommodation

Arrived at Novello hotel fairly late, due to work, but found both management and hotel room to be well organised, clean and inviting. Would recommend to anybody, and may be visiting again very soon, thankyou.4 out of 5, website won't let me fill out stars on rating.

The hotel is clean, room was nice, but we found it to be far too hot, even with the radiators in our room turned off neither of us had much sleep, the one pillow was far too hard the other had plastic inside it so every time I moved I was woken up, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage space, the breakfast was nice, was good to have warm plates, our only niggle is that we would have liked the time of the breakfast to have been 8-10 rather than 8-9 as both of us are up really early every day for our jobs and a lie in would have been nice, we enjoy the nightlife in Blackpool but felt we could not be out very late due to having to be up so early for breakfast, in hindsight we would not have booked for breakfast.All in all the hotel is very good value, the host was very friendly. Would we stay again, probably not, only because of the timing of breakfast and lack of parking

Only stayed a night. Good location & very clean .only met Jef seamed very helpful.

Comfortable room, warm and clean (although we did find a peanut and sweet under the beds). Breakfasts were plentiful although full English was rather greasy for our tastes. Some of the guests were noisy in late evening or early morning despite notices requesting otherwise. However, overall the staff were friendly and we would stay here again.

This B&B is ideally situated for accesing the attractions in Blackpool. We were headed for the Winter Gardens for the national dancing competion so we within walking distance. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of room drinks and you wanted for nothing at breakfast. I will stay again for the next competition. Thanks Novello for the comfortable night.

The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room was very clean and tidy. I stayed for 1 night with my son and it was lovely. The breakfast was plentiful and good quality and the only negative was a personal preference in that I don't like feather pillows and these were the only things that spoiled a good night's sleep. I would recommend this hotel to all and it is ideally located with good nearby parking.

Me, my partner and my mum and dad stayed here for 2 nights the last weekend in October for a long weekend. I was impressed with how clean and well kept the property was and that the bedrooms had the perfect resemblance to the photos on the website. They were small but had everything you needed. Everything was in good working order and the internet was free and available. The dining room was spotless and compliments to the chef because the breakfast was amazing. Even though we had no issues at all I feel that if we had it would have been sorted out straight away.... The friendliness of all the staff was impeccable. I will be visiting again and would have no problems in recommending this property to anyone. Situated behind the famous coral island was away from the main street but close to all attractions.

I've been to Blackpool many times with my husband and the children and always come away disappointed with our choice of b&b but our stay at the Novello was a different experience entirely! We stayed in the studio room which had everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable break - a fully fitted kitchen, an iron and ironing board, a great bathroom and a sofa area. It was such a relaxing and stress free break because of this. Staff were always on hand if we needed them without being too "in your face" like some b&b owners! The location is spot on & We hope to stay here again and make it our regular place to stay! Thanks again for a great stay.

Honestly, I was worried what this B&B would be like. I was visiting Blackpool for my daughters dance competition at The Winter Gardens. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. A friendly and welcoming check in. Clean and warm room. Comfy beds. They even accommodate us with an early breakfast - which was delicious. My only criticism was the noice of passers by, but then that's what you get I suppose being in the centre. Ideal location for all attractions on foot. Would definitely stay there again.
